You really do see something new on every property inspection!
During a recent inspection, our clerk came across an electric shower that had been installed outside of the shower cubicle, rather than within the designated shower area. While unusual installations can sometimes have a perfectly reasonable explanation, this is exactly why regular property inspections are so important.
An inspection allows potential issues with fixtures, fittings, electrical installations and general property condition to be identified and reported to the landlord or managing agent before they become more serious. It also provides a clear photographic record of what was observed at the time of the inspection, helping property managers make informed decisions about any repairs, alterations or further investigation that may be required. Another unusual discovery from the world of property inspections — and certainly one that caught our clerk’s attention!
