We were delighted to complete the Inventory and Check-In of a 14-bedroom HMO on Lower Ford Street, Coventry, during one of the most challenging periods of the pandemic.
All 14 rooms had originally been occupied by workers from Jaguar Land Rover, but following the outbreak of COVID-19, the rooms became vacant.
With demand for NHS accommodation increasing, the NHS stepped in and secured the entire property to provide accommodation for overseas key workers supporting Walsgrave Hospital.
It was a privilege for the Ivy team to play a small part in supporting those who were working tirelessly on the frontline.
Projects like this remind us that an inventory is about more than documenting a property — sometimes it plays a small but important part in supporting the wider community.
